Apple has announced that version 3 of the iPhone operating system "will allow third party applications to access the iPod music library using the updated Media Player Framework". We have now confirmed that it will NOT allow developers to access to the raw samples/real audio that is required to slow down/speed up audio. So version 3 of the iPhone operating system will not change anything for applications as Amazing Slow Downer meaning that you will have to import the songs as explained above.
